Nice replica, but I would think a little out of the box (or in this case, sheet) - based on the shading of the sides, those "wings" actually look like big, round bi-directional thrusters, not flat at all. Always consider your knowledge of other sci-fi ships and what could actually make sense and work - realism was an important goal for FTL, so always go for the concept that makes most sense.
