Hello there, everyone. Markus again!
Surprised by the new look? There's a reason for the appearance-change. I've expanded McCloudCorp to include an R&D Department. Basically, we field-test experimental ship designs (such as weapon-swapped ships) and see what works and what doesn't.
Our first test is a fairly simple one: Which of these 5 candidates could complement our existing Police fighter?

From left to right:
- Riot Shield Variant - This variant includes a deployable frontal shield meant to absorb the bulk of damage. However, speed has been reduced, and it does appear rather silly.
- Elite Variant - This variant replaces all outer armor with Advanced Armor. However, this has made this ship rather slow and heavy.
- Original
- Bomber Variant - This variant replaces the rapid-fire cannons with rapid-fire missiles and replaces the homing missiles with a hyperbeam. It appears to have no glaring flaws.
- FTL Variant - This variant removes the missiles and shields and replaces it with a fairly weak jump drive. Ideally, it should dock to a more powerful entity whilst charging.
