"Fair And Balanced"

    "Fair And Balanced" 3.0

I look at this and think this must be the pinnacle of technology, and anything after this is accelerated into infinity like a flame ascending to the sun
How far can it throw a 90 kg stone
I looked at this and my palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms spaghetti
10/10; would obliterate everything in my path again. Also, somehow, despite being little more than a strictly utilitarian abomination, this thing manages to have a certain beauty to its design.
Who the hell would want to fly in this thing ?

    FlyingDebris
Me. Nobody *should*, but it's an example of the best possible ship design in the game.
the future of starmade? I guess i can stop building ships now.
Well done a fine wire killer. But this is not a power fault nor is power 2.0 going to fix it. Back in the days of core killing and no ship health system one then core locking missile would kill this ship. Lockon missiles then hit something where today all they do is dance. In power 2.0 something else will be even more crazy. And then what? Power 3.0? In a sandbox game you can never prevent people from building in unexpecting ways nor should you.

    literally what

this has nothing to do with power, it's about string cheese
pretty good basic demonstration of this concept. probably pretty scary that this isn't even that close to what you can really do with something like this. oh well, we'll see if schine responds or not
    Kek
    null and insulting

    FlyingDebris
Insulting? Yes. Null? Not sure what you mean by that. Care to elaborate?
    good work lol.

gnomeking, its not an abstract concept, people already use these, and no they arent deleted on servers. jake, yeah its a lot more than power, we already abuse that in "onventional shit" the entire games hit mechanics are screwed.

matt, yeah its all sorts of wrong, and so far power 2 has stuff just as bad.
    Debs spaghetti
    All over his ship
    Debs spaghetti
    Weapons weak
    ships heavy
    Debs spaghetti

It'll fuck your ship up easily.
And this is why power is broken, lads.
Yep, this pretty much embodies everything currently broken in Starmade. Had the "honor" of fighting such a design. It wasn't really a fight, but a one-sided massacre - and my "conventional" ship was twice its mass. You simply cannot cause enough structural damage to these. Let's hope power 2.0 won't have such glaring exploits.

    P.s. Love the logo
You have outdone yourself regarding aesthetics with this highly detailed build. This design can only be rivaled by the best builds in Starmade history.

    Needs more Pipe tho.
    HAIL PIPE
    PIPE FOR THE PIPEGOD.
(I'll be easy on you and give you 5 stars despite this glaring misstake)
    Schine please fix the game
    D
I encourage any of the players who have been attempting to say that Spaghetti ships are not completely broken to fight against a player who is using this ship, if they are flying this vessel properly I can say that in an even mass fight you will loose 9/10 times.

Balancing based off dimensions has allowed broken builds like this to exist, this ship and others of similar design is proof that Schine needs to do something about Spaghetti Ships and the discraceful state of balance in this game as a whole.

Also, to the review by GnomeKing who called this "an extreme case that nobody will ever use"

You cleary have never heard of people like Zyrr and Veilith, who almost exclusivly fly Spaghetti ships they designed.
As a player who self-identifies as an intergalactic cobweb-weaving spider, this ship design has finally introduced the roleplay elements that heretofore have been solely lacking with ship-shaped vessels and their sickeningly identifiable solid features. The elegant lines of this vessel appeal to me on a deep and instinctual level in their light, airy quality.
Schine made the game balanced, yes; but you, sir, have made it beautiful.
lol = thanks for making the abstract concept concrete > but it is an extreme case. Nobody could enjoy trying to use this ship for long, and it would get deleted from a server pretty damn quick (for ugliness, never mind the crippling lag...)

point well made though - now we need some a few power 2.0 uber-dumb-bells ....
