Inspired by the enemy detector, I developed the DES
I am fighting for enemy awareness, everyone should be aware of an enemy nearby, every day, hundreds of people die because they weren't aware.
This is why I release this top class piece of high-tech innovation to you.
To make enemy unawareness a past thing.
To use the scanner, simply place it on a dock on your ship.
The DES will scan everything in it's assigned dimension and will translate this into logic signals, to see what dimension the scanner is assigned to, look at the plate with the turret if the disk is aligned with your ship, it means it will scan everything on the X dimension (so everything you see if you keep trying to look to your left (and then make a circle))
Advised is that you use at least 2 scanners, place the scanners with the plates in different positions, making 1 scan X and the other Y/Z
take a look at this picture:
to know what information the scanner will give, look at the disk of the scanner, and see what dimension it is aligned to (X,Y,Z) then look at the picture again, look at the dimension line it is aligned to, now imagine that the line starts rotating, X goes in left to right circles, Y left to right as well and Z will make up and down circles, now everywhere that line comes, the enemy will be detected. p.s. the lines rotate on center of mass.
the scanner scans in angles of 45 degrees
usage information (button to press to activate and such) are located on the scanner.
the collision stops working well after unloading the sector, to fix the scanner after unloading it, hit the reset all button.
Your ship must be pretty big to fit 2 of the scanners.
