Lovely piece of tech, personally I swapped the turret parts weapons with cannon-beam as it's got the range to always light up those sector boundary snipers.

Here is a little story about how this saved my life:
I was piloting my Aran Hunter in the depths of space, seeking out something to shoot, suddenly my lights flashed up with blinking warnings, something was behind me radar jammed, if I had not noticed and killed the ship, it would have certainly killed me, fukin glass cannon that thing was.
