Nifty. There's so few people with an expertise in rails and logic that I'm always glad to see your builds. You could solve the balance issue by having the rear legs be 2 sets of legs. When folded up one set would be above the front legs like it is now and the other would be tucked below. When they fold out the new legs would be further back adding stability. To keep things from jamming up you could have the new legs offset a couple blocks towards the center or to the outside so the front legs pass them like two scissor blades when they fold out. This will also have the benefit of shutting up people like me who will point out that crickets have 6 legs.
