There is another Major Organization that lies on the Terran World, called the Confederation of Peace. Members of this confederation does not have the same Ideology with the more popular and intergalactic UCIV. Originated on the northern parts of the planet [Europe or Russia]. While the Coalition does maintain peace across the sector, which also focus on Exploration, Technology, Research [Both Biological and Technical], the Confederation solely focus on Combat and Defense. Basically, heavily militarized.
Using sophisticated Weapons and Technology, they are able to build ships capable of destroying any Foes that poses a threat to the world. Or anything that threatens the Terran people in General. What the UCIV cannot do in battle, the Confederation Can.
Their Latest Fighter is the Mk-6 Viper Fury, based from the Mk-5 Fury. A hybrid of Fighter, Stealth, and Bomber. Is very expensive and can be a challenge to fly. Which makes it more sensible to only be operated by a highly trained Pilot. And with Training very specific for the Craft.
Due to the nature of the craft's Technology and it's Cost, Only Councilors have access to this Asset. Councilors, are high ranking Agents with special training for the advanced fighters. Officers of the Confederation. They have the power and command to lead their own Fleet and Battalions in their various operations. Though, their main purpose is to be the Spokesperson of the Terran World to negotiate peace with alien worlds, specially for the hostile factions. These peace meetings either end up with two worlds uniting with in agreement, or the other gets obliterated.
Heading straight to the Ship's Features, this ship is significantly faster than it's predecessor, with a fully 100% Stabilized Reactor, featuring Stealth Drive that renders the Fighter full invisibility with Jammer and Cloaker, and effective Shields for it's size.

Sliding Cockpit Door:
Using the Ship's Missile-Missile Weapon, this Fighter literally one-hits the Falcon Light Corvette one first try [Weapon test]. IDK, maybe I accidentally hit the Reactor or some other major systems inside the Hull. I do know that the Weapon combination ignores shields. Which, I think would make a good tactic for small ships like this to locate and hit the "Weak Spots" of their Larger Enemy Ships.
So in theory, a fleet of these ships [20+], with skilled pilots [Not AI] can take out a battleship, or possibly a Titan, depending on how well they are built.
Boom. OVERHEATING

If you are in a single player universe, you might want to consider adding these light fighters in a form of a small fleet. These, light, expendable fighters should be much cheaper than the Viper Fury.

Though, it's a bit unclear on what you mean when you say "Slightly overdone" with the details, are we talking about exterior? Interior? well, pretty much the exterior but Like, in what way? How can I Improve the ship's design then? Either way, you gave me something to think about so I'll see what I can do to simplify the Design a bit. But perhaps you could broaden on that one in your next review, most probably. :)
Now, I understand that the ship's more into Missiles. But it's a light bomber and a heavy fighter at the same time, as mentioned on the post. Also, that missile that "Backfired" was the Missile + Missile "Bomb" (with EM effect) that has no self-propulsion. Meaning, you need to be moving when using it. It's so powerful that it ignores shields which can take out much larger ships like the one shown above. (You can read more about it here: https://www.star-made.org/news/starmade-v0-201-126-weapon-update). What I liked about this is that small ships like this one could actually be useful in a fight. And thus, what it is I wanted to demonstrate here with the new weapon system.
Though, I agree it has very limited Missile Capacity. The reason I limited the missile capacity to two is because that I need to balance the power consumption between all systems that are in the ship. I think the ship has some space here, so I'll see what I can do to improve that. Probably some chamber configurations and probably be improved on a next update or so!. :D
Now, I'm not quite sure if you are reviewing the correct resource cause the fighters here have shields. Even if they are small in recharge and capacity (as a result of Power consumption balancing), I do think (and tested, at this point) though that they are enough for you to enable stealth just before you start receiving damage. Still, I'll do my best to look for improvements in the next update! Probably work on a Mark 7 or so :)
Anyways, I'm glad that you liked the lore. Even though that it may seem to be un-original.
Either-way, Thanks again for your Review! :D
