Hey I had your Cerberus Sr-2 ship and was working on it till you released this version. I've been heavily modifying it with powerful weapons, some of which look like they come from the Thanix Cannons if they are deployed. I had to guy part of the ship and fill a few rooms with systems. I was wondering if I make a combat version of it, could I reupload it here with all credit due to you and this DL of course. The SR-2 is an awesome ship and I just wanted to take it into combat. Alot of the SA ships out there have minimal systems and almost no interior.
So what I've done so far: The hangar bay is intact with the blast doors, as well as the common areas, CIC, Cockpit, and Captain's Quarters. I did however have to remove the rooms that peer into the reactor chamber, but I made sure to keep the side observation lounges and the sickbay. The ship requires a lot of power in order to utilize it's weapons, ion shielding, and thrusters. I also increased its shielding to over 340K with a regen of almost 19K. Power is 2.7mil with a regen of about 560K (I want to improve on that).
I also plan of modifying the cockpit so that you can pilot the ship via camera there. I always use display screens for system power/shield readouts and I use a few glass doors right in front of the camera since glass blocks the visual efx of beams and missiles. It will be Inner Remote controlled. Parts of the exterior will be modified to cover weapon systems but I will try to keep it as unnoticeable as possible.
I've also added several other weapons besides the Thanix System. The Thanix System is a two-parter. It fires powerful blue Missiles with beam and explosive attributes, as well as blue beams with explosive attributes from the barrels as well. I added twin Laser Cannons with Ion to the bow of the ship along with twin piercing beams. I might add some seeker missiles for anti-starfighter defense that launch from the top or the sides of the ship, maybe from the back?
The idea is for the ship to have an unlimited amount of sustained firepower that can be cycled through. Each weapon will be effective against different types of systems/blocks. I intend to make the ship able to take on a Pirate Station and do significant damage before retreating to recharge shields. Shields hopefully will recharge in under 20 seconds and it can return to combat.
I might even throw on some point defense turrets and call that the assault version of the ship. I'd like to know what you think and if it would be ok to release the combat ready version. If you want, I could also do the power grid and offensive and defensive systems for the ME3 version. It might not be as powerful as this one because I would want to leave the interior untouched. You did such a great job on it. Thx for making this ship, it's one of my favorite ships from one of my favorite games.
