The Zoom Corporation

The Zoom Corporation is an Industrial and Mining Operation based on the Elwyn Eternity server which our homebase there is Planet X103. The plan is to build a metropolis of trading and mining for the players of the server, we started yesterday and have made quite progress. The only criteria is, be mature (no matter the age) and be active, and know the basics of the game.

Minister of Information's Report:
Today a heated debate issued between the Minister of Industry and the C.E.O with potential threats becoming more than a possibility and the Minister of defense was left speechless, getting ready to prepare lockdown as the colonial governor Markonius denied C.E.O Zoomer access to the natural resources found on Tethanis Prime. Luckily, the 2 influential leaders of the leadership came to accord with Tethanis Prime paying out a 40million credit sum as a yearly tax in exchange for it being left to manage itself and to control all resources in it's close vicinity.
Geno24 a new recruit was added to the faction and seems to have lots of potential.
Drznow has commenced construction on the X103 defense system, built his private office, two runways and a hanger.

Day 7 (21/04/015, Yesterday's News)

• A new ship, the Manticore Class Corvette has been built (Pictures will be released later)
• The Zoom Corporation Guard has officially executed it's first operation by neutralizing the filthy pirates in our system.
• Big progress on the colony Tethanis Prime.
• A Factory that mass produces Cyclops Class Frigates has been constructed on Planet X103, this is a great step for the Corporation.
• Massive progress on Planet X103's military installations and industry installations as well.

• Governor of Tethanis Prime reveals that another possible program is Tethanis Prime orbital station to be run as colonial guard station.
• More mining has once again added stocks to the faction storages
• Minister of Industry reports that a recent trade deal with a member of Cobalt Royalty has left both of the groups involved sufficiently richer than before

Minister of Information's Report:
While day 7 was quite a compact day with lots of action going on, day 8 has been a much more 'rest and recreation' period as stocks are restocked, ships are fixed, patches are covered and yet more money is made by The Industry sector. Tethanis Prime grows by the day and rumours have spread that a new orbital station near Tethanis Prime is a possibility & finally further pirate cleansing in and around the system is making our guard much more experienced.

• Work continues on both planets of the corporation.
• Governor of Tethanis Prime reports that orbital station project is no longer a rumour but an upcoming reality and shall be operational very soon.
• Minister of Industry reports that Tethanis Prime has had a boom today following another trading agreement between them and an unofficial group known as 'Medved Hotels'
• Zoom Corporation has gotten a new ally: TombStoneRus
• Capital ship construction continues
• Joint project Zoom Corp-Vandal Alliance continues

Minister of Information's Report:
Today has been a very profitable day for the Zoom Corporation with a lot of work towards developing the economy of the group. Yet another trading agreement with Medved Hotels has proven fruitful once again. Our builders are hard at work on building heavy ships and we have secured one more ally who we hope will be a very secure ally in the future. Local brigands of uncooperative pirates attempted a raid on Tethanis Prime with a light fleet of 3 ships. All ships destroyed, shootings followed and pirate pilots were served justice. Surveillance has revealed more information on neighbouring factions. TombStoneRus promises to be an interesting, and perhaps powerful ally and is currently considering moving into the nearby territories. Minister of Industry has been in touch with Supreme Bashar 'Magnus' of Vandal Alliance about a closer diplomatic relationship. The fleet grows by the day.

Today has been yet another profitable day for the Zoom Corporation with work going towards developing the economy of the group. • Asgard faction has declared war and has conducted 3 cowardly hit-and-run attacks on the homebase sector, suffering casualties from the small local turret defences and dealing only little damage to the local fleet.
• Event has been moved to happen on the 26/04/2015 due to maintenance issues.

Minister of Information's Report
Today has been a very interesting day for Zoom Corporation. With 3 new recruits zoom corporation is starting to grow quickly. Trade is blossoming and a few forages to attack pirates have been successful with plentiful loot collected. Fluch-Des-Abgrunds a new member of Zoom Corporation was hired and shows promise in military work for the faction. wclark71 accepted into the faction and shows promise in military work for the faction. waabm97 hired and shows promise in becoming an all round player for the faction. Starfall Harbourage is bustling and the citizens of Tethanis Prime have gone on a 2 day holiday to celebrate their new safety. However there is not quite enough peace to go round. A foul hostile faction called Asgard have been sending forays at Zoom Corporation. At first they were successful. No more! Zoom Corporation shall be ready. A new fleet is under construction in Starfall Harbourage and member Fluch is toiling hard to create a battlecruiser capable of wrecking havoc on Asgard. A surveillance mission has revealed poor aesthetically built and weak militarily reinforced facilities so it is surprising that Asgard is seeking a war with Zoom Corporation, however war is full of surprises.

Day 12 (Not full news, 26/4/015)

• Due to a bug, our homebase planet just randomly exploded and so did all loaded planets on the server, but we didn't lose anything, so we have set up a new station in our system (still w.i.p, nothing to see now).
• A successful attack on the filthy Asgard pirates has left them with one cube ship which is heavily damaged, this is the first victory of the ZCG against other players.

day 12 (26/04/2015)

• More or less stable base set up as homebase
• Successful attacks on Asgard pirates has left them with heavily damaged ships
• We have established an alliance with Hiigara
• New ships have been deployed to become part of the colonial fleet
• New ships have been bought from our allies and added to the colonial fleet
• An official alliance with Cobalt Royalty has been sealed following consecutive trade deals with their members
• Building rights in a small area on Starfall Harbourage secured for Cobalt Royalty
• Factories with auto-sort set up on Starfall Harbourage
• Embassy building is under construction to be a huge structure where multiple rooms will be reserved for each of our allies.

Minister of Information's Report:
Today has been another profitable day for the Zoom Corporation with work going towards developing the economy of the group. Trading agreements with Cobalt Royalty have now secured an official alliance. Our builders are hard at work on building an embassy facility at Starfall Harbourage. The fleet grows by the day. More recruitment means more members and our faction is growing bigger at a steady speed.
