Bug universe reset wipes blueprints in dev build.

when i wiped my dev build copy of starmade using the universe reset so the ships by my spawn point wouldnt lag me when i logged in it also wiped my blueprints from the dev build folder.
up until now this has never happened before
is this a bug or a new feature if a new feature can it be turned off?

So actually deleted from the folder? Or just missing from the catalog?

deleted from the folder.
only ones left are isanths
luckily i had backups of the BPs

Are you sure you're checking the right folder? "Blueprints-default" is where the isanths are, "Blueprints" is where your ships are saved.

and yes im sure im checking the right place

not reset the universe? not overwritten folders? looked in auto-generated backups? not rolled-back to an old version? Is your exported folder intact?

not deleted the directory accidentally manually? (the folder may respawn with lost content after dead)


Finally. Can you reproduce it? That is an important step in bugfixing.

Tested that -
so far, the universe catalog gets wiped, but this is intended behavior.
The universe and ship catalog ingame IS empty when resetting.

You have to go to "upload from local" to make them appear ingame again.

In case you lost all blueprints on reset, you most likely did not use "save to local" on the blueprints that were used on a server before.
