We are proud to announce the construction of our new long-term project, the Paladin Cruiser! Currently at 467m long this ship will become the new backbone of the Trident fleet. This is another ship that will be built exclusively on NFD. Currently it is only a wireframe, but here are some shots:

This ship will feature heavy weaponry and twin hangars carrying our new Zipper Light Fighter.

The wireframe already shows the immense size (relative to all other Trident ships that is) and potential power.

Sometimes I write things. Here ya go guys, have a story.
It currently details about my old faction on the Nass server first meeting crazyf22raptor 's faction on there. In the future I will expand it to include intrigue, conflict, battles, exploration, creation... etc. It's heavily based on real events but with lots of artistic license and RPness thrown in.
If ya enjoy it or find a point that could be improved, pop me a reply on the thread and I'll do my best to sort it.

Trident hasn't been releasing much recently, so we decided to create something new. Enter our Deep-space Outpost!

With Quantum-level shields and newly-designed microturrets it should be able to hold its own against pirate assaults.

Okay guys, we have restarted work on the Paladin Cruiser due to a fairly significant need to supply the armada with tougher combat vessels and ships able to slug it out with similarly sized ships. We may remove the hangar bays and replace them with heavy turrets however.

Paladin Cruiser progress update!

Main hull is coming along pretty well now. Glowy bits are already being placed where the 'warp engines' would be. The former hangars are being converted into heavy turret mounts.

A placeholder interior is also being put in now.

Sorry for the lack of updates, it's getting harder for us to get on due to real life.

I've done a minor update to Trident's signature Fast Response Quantum.

This will probably be the only ship update for some time as we continue to work on the Paladin Cruiser.

Finally another new ship by Trident Industries! The Quantum Hunter is a fearsome new light frigate capable of easily wrecking any ships around its size range.

In other news, work on new ships is slowing down as Paladin development progresses, there will be less and less new ships until it is done.

A little late, but I've decided to release one of my older stations to make up for the lack of new content. Enter the Mercenary Drydock!

With docking space for any Quantum-sized ship, ample defenses and a small factory system and spawnpoints, it would make a good faction starting base too.

We got burned out on the Paladin project, and are putting it on hold (again!)

In the meantime we have released not one, but TWO ships! Enter the Hammerhead Medium Fighter and the Trinity Scout Corvette!

We have another project planned with more holographic armor hardpoints too. I think the crystal armor really works here - it looks almost force-field or hologram like, hence the name :p

We at Trident have decided that the venerable Quantum series of frigates will no longer be getting updates. As such, we will be releasing a new pack soon with all Quantum variants we have made over the past year or so. We are sad to see the vessels go, but unfortunately they are unsuitable for our current objectives.
