Not anymore, because that's sorta what I'd expect based on the name.
CR - Amarr ships
In eve online (where amarr comes from) the Khanid Kingdom is a faction/group that broke away from the amarr empire, and uses recolors of amarr ships.
Therefore, I would expect the Khanid Domain to use similar ships to the CR.

Also, what is that qoute from?

Yeah, I guess.
I'm okay with you guys using the ships, it doesn't really hurt the CR or anything like that. It looks a little strange, since I am used to seeing ships of that kind in the CR, but that doesn't mean that it's something you can't/shouldn't do.

I do have the Icuras and the smaller vaygr intruder/invader (cant remember which one is which) and I was considering refitting them to meet our standards, but they were just a bit too boxy. I also have a few Tartaran ships, but out of respect I will not touch them.

In case no one knew Artstakzkan has taken to building TE ships as Tartaran Empire despite being dead is still considered a vassal to AE.
So TE style ships are actually being built still.

AE is not building TE ships, they are building their own style as they have done for some time.
It's the Tartaran Expan-somethingICantRemember who are using the TE style, and that would be us the old TE people.
Sadly there havent been much happening and Comr4de havent really needed us for much.

What You Want to Do in the Faction: Enjoy myself. Learn. Build. A slow-paced faction of builders is my cup of tea for sure, and the prospect of getting into proper faction matters later on seems fairly interesting indeed. I've so far only built ships staying away from combat performance-oriented aspects, but I'm pretty much willing to sacrifice interior aesthetics for ship-devouring fun once I've learned.

It has the Amarr/old CR logo, yet it obviously cannot be an old CR ship, because of the shape. From the other posts, people are saying the shape is vaygr, and that is NFD colors. What is that ship??

EDIT- After looking through this thread http://starmadedock.net/threads/calderon-naval-shipyard-cns.4001/, I suppose it could be 3rd or fourth generation Calderon based on the colors

That is a Tartaran Empire Manticore. An older one.
With the most horrible recolour and customisation I have ever seen.
And no people are not saying it's a Vaygr ship...
