Texture pack help

    I am trying to create a more 'worn looking' texture pack. Is there a way of making a block side choose from a number of different textures (multi-tex) to break up wear patterns, scars, surface features, and so forth, so that wear doesn't get replicated across an entire connected surface?



    Also, I noticed that this engine uses shaders.... is it possible to assign a specular/normal map to the block texture sheet? Or are both of these things plans for the future?

    You can assign more sides to blocks via the block editor under the modding menu (or the file blockconfig.xml)

    Know though that people that play on servers won\'t see these changes, because the server\'s blockconfig.xml will be used instead.

    so you would, in essence, have to make a \'hull\' a multi-sided texture, and then alter which side is facing outwards to break up the patterns for the six sides?



    And altering the blockconfig would, I assume, be considered a \'mod\', and thus be used on modded servers.
