Bug Stopping current client

I know there were threads here about the same problem, but nothing helps here. Maybe someone solved this issue. Game worked ok and everything was fine but came a new hotfix that apparently changed a game and made it unrunnable. I can run to the main menu, I can choose some server from the list, but in the stage of the connecting to the server I got the above mentioned message. How can I solve this issue? I tried to reinstall the game, I have installed it in the different folder I have made uplink and nothing, absolutely nothing helps. Please help with some solution, since I am desperate now to run it.

You did fill in those two fields on connection to a server .. right ? please try to use the Uplink to starmade again. maybe that info got broken.

this is goign to be a lot more common what with the new launcher beta. ppl with pre-installed copies will have to reuplink.
