I haven't been able to play the newest update because whenever i update to the newest version the game is unable to start when i press 'Start Game' in the launcher. I can't even go to the connection setup!
I tried to reinstall the game a few times now but i always get two errors: One says that the StarMade.jar is either corrupted or not there at all. When i try to open the StarMade.jar as .zip it says it is unable to open up the file as .zip (which usually works).
Another error i get is that it doesn't show anything at all. As stated above i press 'Start Game' in the launcher and then nothing happens at all. This is the log file:

My quess is that i somehow have problems with downloading the StarMade.jar ('StarMade.jar is corrupted' & 'ClassNotFoundException: it.unimi.dsi.fastutil.objects.ObjectOpenHashSet'). Would anyone be so nice and upload a working StarMade.jar as the latest update isn't available throug files.star-made.org ?
Problem is solved for me. I've been able to download the working StarMade.jar now (after 23 tries).
One can get it here just in case anyone has the same issue.

Go to Options and repair. Click Search Newest and click Download Normal. It'll double check for missing or screwy files. 60% of the time that's the cause. Then we go down the happy list of Java mismatches, outdated drivers and screwy settings like memory and graphics.

Tried that a view times already.
However: I've been able to get the correct StarMade.jar now. A friend of mine downloaded it and send it to me.

so ... i had no problem so far updating from the servers. Are you on a wireless connection or is your internet connection generely unstable ?

Well, as a general rule: wired>wireless
Stability, speed, latency, and package-loss are WAY better on wired connections.
