I just miss small blocks and blocks wich have a special player-interaction.
Rotors are fun, but damaging everything that is rotated too fast against a wall or have to find everything between all those lamps and other stuff in your configuration tab is annoying.
I think the only thing StarMade could do better is:
- Economy balance, less cluttered shop menus (automatically generated recipies, cubatom costs and prices for more items editable at once, setup of different currencies..) - I have some example-suggestions here.
- Weapon vs shield or scissors, rock, paper balance
- More block-synergy
blocks which can only get placed together / on defined other blocks to create more complex \"tetris\"-objects
- combinations of items in build mode like color+texture+function
[*]^ something to make hull and interior usefull (less weight for deko and cheapest hull could just be a one-side painted block with few weight...)
[*]Wedges, Corners and such used on asteroids - auto-rotation and smooth replacement/salvage for a nice look.
I think if that happens, Space Enginners would have absolutely nothing which is better.
StarMade is clearly superior to the current stage of SE
