Well that seemed to be the point. Afterall they used flood sounds from Halo CE - Halo 2 extensively.

oh I never beat Halo CE and I never got passed the first mission in Halo 2 because I got really confused at the beginning lol.

I beat Halo CE on Legendary and almost every week play last level on legendary
