Starmade crashing at 100% still

Starmade keeps crashing at 100% for me, it has been doing it since the new HUD system. Most of the time it crashes but sometimes it works.
I have the latest java versions java 7 update 75(64bit) Se Developmetn kit, Java8 update 40(64bit) and Java SE development kit 8 Update 31 (64bit)
My intel HD graphics driver version 15.33.32.64.4061

Can you tell what is wrong from the information i provided or do you need log?
If you do can you tell me how to post a log.
I'm guessing the problem could be the java error

This is an odd bug that apparently lots of people are having with Java. I don't think this is SM's fault...

Others have mentioned it being due to corrupt registries and installations and fixed it with a registry repair tool or reinstalling java. Some report it being due to an application being blocked access to the internet via a firewall. Even windows UAC is being blamed (by oracle itself).

First thing i would try is checking SM is not being blocked by a firewall.
Secondly i would temporarily turn UAC off while launching SM.

If those fail, then we can get a tester to look at the logs.

Quite a few hits are coming up on google regarding the EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) error. I'll have a little look see if there are any other basic checks we can do.

your graphcisinfo.txt and the threaddump do show a driver version 9.17.10.2843 and the Intel 15.33.32.64.4061 set would show 10.18.10.4061

I have a problem, I can't update my Intel HD graphics card because my laptop is a lenovo thinkpad x230 and won't update

I tried using java7 update 75 (64bit) starmade doesn't work and second launcher doesn't open
I tried using java8 update 40 (64bit) starmade didn't work and crashed at 100%
I tried using java8 update 40 (32bit) starmade works

The driver issue is odd. Are you sure you did find the proper Version on the Intel Page when you tried it ? that page is everything than customer friendly i have to say!

do you need that java 7 for anything specific ? if not .. get rid of it, and maybe reinstall the 64bit:8U40 after that.
SM is really limited with the 32 bit version.
You also could try to run the JDK Java version .. could be helpful with the GPU drivers.

I am sorry i cant verify that .. my wife kills me if i go and install windows on her lenovo Unix thinkpad

did you maybe try the Intel utility to identify the needed driver? ->http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?iid=dc_iduu

yes i have intel(R) Driver update Utility 2.0 and it says intel is at version 15.33.32
