    Hello Fondor Fans

    hope your all well

    Sorry that i have not been keeping you all up-to date with the Fondor Shipyards due to because of final assignments for my uni work, and my gaming laptop's mother bored braking down and now fix and family assistant, i have been very busy man haha but we will get there so here we are some screen shoots of my progress,

    1) all hangers are completed and finish with access to fighters
    2) working on corridors as we speak getting them to connect ect
    3) upgraded the communication dish " i was not happy with the first one and made a better one"
    4) re visit docking clamps " for some odd reason the clams have gone into the arm extenders dont know why but there you go Hah
    5) gravity bug issues i have notices that the gravity when dock to the shipyards effect the star destroyer which is good but some times when going to it it puts me upside down so im walking on the selling hahah
    6) added Sinner Sat alight hanger work spaces ( being fondor making the snider sat alight i made a rial spaces for them this would make scenes seem that the shipyard make them in the first places}

    (ALL MOST FINISH )

    after the inters is completed the next step will be to copy the it then past it on to a ship core you may be asking why well because of the angles of the docks are on a 45 ish angles i felt that it will not work right and look right so this will be the way to get around it then the next part will be to connect the ship copy corridors with the mane station giving a complete station as it is in the game

    This is awesome! I like the energy shield you have around the faction block, I never thought about that.
    thanks Knjarr for your words, the idea for this was form game that i have played in the past the core room was inspired by Jedi outcast the mission was the Shield generate room aboard the doom giver mission, the cargo room was form Star wars Shadows of the empire Untitled1.jpg Untitled.jpg

    a very quick update for you on the Fondor Shipyards so far so good the a lot of maths and exterminating time on this has final pad off , here a quick look with the ring so far and my i add that copy this onto a ship core was a pain due to the fact that starmade dose not like Big builds copy's so i had to do it as chicks of 8 block height at a time but it final getting there

    im adding the props details on as we speak and fixing arise that did not mirror propyl
    hope you will enjoy and ill keep you updated the best i can

    After doing some initial calculations, I've managed to get the parts in the right thirds, but sadly the joints are not lined up properly. On the screenshots you'll see that the anchoring top part is fine connecting to the other 2, but where those other 2 join is not quite right. I'm not sure if it might have something to do with trying to allow for odd numbers and non-straight lines which is difficult enough in Starmade. If anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it.

    You may be using regular symmetry for building, which places the mirror split plane directly on the middle of a block. It may be worth your while to use even-symmetry, which places the mirror split plane on the edge of a block. That way, the two non-cardinal sections can meet at a singular point (instead of one whole block) and radiate from there. Note with even-symmetry, your cardinal-facing section will be an even-number of blocks wide, instead of odd. At the scale of this build, it shouldn't make much of a difference at all.

    Otherwise, if it's just a matter of joining the two non-cardinal sections with a rounded line, it might benefit you to "pull" those sections up on the circle a bit, on their respective side. They would no longer be at the exact right angle (120 degrees and 240 degrees, respectively), but they'd get a bigger distance between them for a distance more in-line with the distance between them and the cardinal section.

    Option #2: To avoid fighting third-sections vs. cardinal directions in Starmade, simply upgrade your structure to have four cardinal sections, instead of only 3. Not quite as Star-Wars-y as three sections, but you would no longer be fighting the game engine for your sanity.

    For now ill have to put this project on hold due to starting my final year at college and it is a very import year for me

    if i get some free time and keep my self on top of the work load i will continue to build Fondor but it will be a very slow progress ill try my best to keep you all updated

    Hi all

    i wanted to post this over October 1/2 term but the Form was out of order to post for me so i had to waite until it was fix and updated
    so far so good but its very slow working on this at the moment due to course work when its closer to Xmass ill have more time to work on Fondor, in other new i have work out how to solve my problem with the three entity attachments together showing how i did this i have added screenshots for u all to have a look at hope you like them because its the best i can do hahaha, thank you with your continuous feedback and support on this project it relay helps me get this done

    Hey all hope you are well

    been working very hard with assessment work , sorry that i have not posted in a long time but this is just a quick update on were i am with the shipyard, because of the lagged gaps i waned to fill them up and that means i had to stretch the station a bit more, this mean ill have a wider hangers to work with the fighter will be the same and will have dock tug to repair the ships you will see more clearly what i have been doing the screen shoots and have more an idea i had to response the station and strips the prop parts to attach to the ship version in order to have the 3 part of the the full carnal. i will have to go back and more the same alterations on the man Station as well do not worry this project is not and will not be dead i am more coming this far i want to finish it properly, ones this Project is complete depending on the universe Update i will work on the XQ-Platforms 1-6 Form Tie Fighter PC Game if the universe update is come after or before i finish fondor at some point i will be making Kurt Drive-yards but ideally i want to see if the Scale of the plaints will go up more to relic scale

    4 years..........4 years and 5 Attempts on this Project and it has come down to this moment here is fondor at 85% complete it was a magic moment when the final dock was set in to places my older brother who help me with the math and both of use work together non stop trying to line it all up correctly he had happy watching the final moment with me when it final dock and i got very emotional moment and i did actually started to cry with happiness and hugging him as well.

    i wish i did a live stream on distort but i needed to meany ram form it to dock hahahah

    Hello All

    Hope your well and safe,

    Well this was a long time coming, and we have some good new and some bad, ill start with the good New first.

    Firstly, We have a full Circle for Fondor.

    the bad news is that there a lot of tweaking that need to be done.
    the Original plan was to have two pieces dock on to the Station virgin of Fondor, and take it form there when i want to revisit it at the beginning of December this year i have notices that there was a lot of errors with the build sues as the circle not lining up properly, that will have to iron out and i have tried many ways to see if it can be fix but that will have to mean starting the station build agen to save time i have come up with a new plan and layout.

    THE NEW PLAN AS FOLLOWS:

    The station build will be ass follows:

    the circle its self with docking ports, for the Ship virgin of Fondor to dock with, to make the ship Fondor virgins work with the station being with shop and re-spawn block i have made a lot of interior spaces to compensate for this, that will be use to add Systems such as Power ect

    ill make sure that the docking claps arias were the ISD will go will be range of the shop block for each Ship virgin of Fondor.

    Gap covering panels will be tweak a bit to cover the off connection this will be a very smile change and to be notice with you, you will not notices this.

    if i do make this available for Download ill will leave notices on the Post it self, also i would like to have it check over by a master builder this is because being that my server.cg is modified bait with power so i would like some help with this setup in-game to make it work for vanilla players.

    ill try to make time for it over the Xmass week but ill have to see hope you all have a good xmass and New year and please stay safe

    Hello All

    Hope your well,

    So I have good News and Bad News,

    Ill start with the good new, all the Fondor Parts are all in the right places and work as i wanted them too the only thing that i need to finish off on the out side of the station is making covers over the gaps so it look like its all connected, i have show examples of this in prev use post, for the inside its making corridors to connect with the other two Fondor Ship pies ideal with out the use of teleportation but will see , other rooms such as factory ,Prisons blocks, troop quarters as well as command quarters ect . giving power Systems Shield ect to the station ill be using dead spaces inside the fondor Stretcher for proportion, Cargo spaces with shop models in order to buy & Reaper ship parts that are in range for docking using the dock clams areas i would say that ETOC (Ester-met Time Of Completion) would be about One mouth to complete!

    Now for the bad News

    My Gaming laptop is reaching its limit with Fondor Build to the point were my FPS is about 1 OR 5 at best so i will need to Upgrade My Laptop back into a Gaming PC and with being Self Employed and looking for a Full Time job with my New Career in Photography Income is very tight right now until i can find a full time job in Photography and get a secured Income agen this will be put on hold for now, to let you all Know that i have put a lot of time and passion into this build and how far i have got done i want to finish it and i have the determination to do this form the starmade community i would also like to take the time to say thank you to everyone who has posted on this thread with there support and surjections it had been a moral Boots to help me complete this build that i need.


    whats happening NEXT ?

    well the fondor Project is on hold i can work on Other Star wars Stations and Ship on my list to do most of them have been form the game form the 1998's Game TIE FIGHTER & X-WING vs TIE FIGHTER Balances of Power i will be Working on the shipyard form the final Mission of the game " Telgorn shipyard " ill add an Image for you all to see what it will look like the plan is to make two version of the station one being Imperial and the other rebels Style just to let you know that in-order to make it a working shipyard with the games messianic ill be tweaking the shipyard modules Default per dissents to able to build an 1:2 scal ISD
