[SOLVED] How do I embed images?

Why do images not embed in my forum posts? They show up in the preview and the WYSIWYG editor.

Have you tried to add pictures using HTML code after clicking "Source"?
I belive the simple HTML code for embedding an image is:

I will ask my web dev teacher tomorrow. We did images like 2 weeks ago and I seem to have forgotten already, sorry. I'll post the answer from class as soon as I find out.

you have to use the editor: there is a image icon on top that lets you embed

I you want to do it with code, you have to click on "Switch to plain text editor" in the bottom

Does not work for me. The image shows up in the editor, but vanishes after I submit the post.

If I use "source" mode, I get the same result. Nothing.

Strange, I switched to Google Chrome, and now I can see all embedded images. This forum has multiple issues with Firefox.

I put pictures in the forum, the smaller resized, but also puts them in their original format. And deforms the forum, would have to correct this. I use the editor that comes standard in the forum, you add image and then I get the size I want, to make it look smaller.
