Not been about much recently but thought I'd give this a bump for posterity, but also because Jojomo has cleverly made a converter for MagicaVoxel to SM and loaded up to the CC section. Havent tried it yet, but worth a look folks. Inabit!

Well, looks like I've stumbled upon a nice little free "sketchpad" for voxel builders: MagicaVoxel

"A free lightweight 8-bit voxel editor and interactive path tracing renderer, enjoy License : feel free to use it for any project, no commercial licences required, credits are appreciated"

Havent yet tried it out myself, but I'm damned sure someone reading this will end up making great use of it!

Wow, didnt think it had been a year since I last updated this thread.

Well, heres a thing for when you're low on ideas. Pretty sure we all did this in our imaginations as kids, but not enough people carry it over as they age.
