Bug Single Player World Fails to Initialize

Ever since updating to the most recent update the other day, I have been unable to play Starmade on single player. The game will load multiplayer worlds fine, but single player not so well.

I've deleted my install folder and reinstalled from scratch. Didn't work. I downloaded the new launcher and installed the game that way. Worked once and never again. Just deleted the folder again and tried reinstalling. Didn't work.

This is most annoying as I would like to build ships and not deal with this shit.

are you sure the last Java instance of starmade got terminated properly ?
if not exit starmade and end any java.exe task from the taskmanger that remains and try again.

Thanks for the response. Tried closing down everything java related from task manager and reloading. Still getting a failure to load. Thing is I can delete the folder and download and older version and it works perfectly

Please make a new install in a new directory and start one singleplayer universe there.
after that fails get me the logfiles from it.
the logfile up there shows 3 tries to start a universe (if i am not mistaken) with different errors.
