since version 0.18999 game crashes at 100%

    this has not happened to me in a long time i have un-updated and reupdated overwritten and forced update and even got the latest version of java but nothing works i really want to play this version but it is just not working i get no messages stating why so any help?

    Look in the logs, there should be an error, post it here.

    Or simply append the whole log.txt.x file with the latest timestamp/crashtime and the graphcisinfo.txt (yes .. not a typo) from the logs folder here

    thats a log ... but not from starmade itself ;)
    search in Starmade/logs .. the file is named log.txt.x ... with x beeing a number. choose the one with the timestamp from the last crash. graphcisinfo.txt is in the same folder.

    are you realy running on the integrated Intel grafics core ?
    no seperate Grafics GPU somewhere mentioned for your system ?
    Intel grafics is a terrible thing for gaming.

    I qoute someone here, his solution may work for you too:

    I had a similar problem (Crashing @ 100% loaded) with this machine and its Intel 4600HD.

    The driver your computer's manufacturer (or OEM) put in is most likely out of date, and the exe installer for the updated driver will probably not want to work because the OEMs tend to tweak the things, so the generic Intel driver will refuse to update over the OEM-modified version out of concern for the safety of your system's functionality.

    First, you'll want to:

    1. Make a system restore point; it's always a good idea to do this before messing with drivers.
    2. Go to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ and find the Graphics Driver that matches the system you have.
    3. Go to your OEM's website and see if they have the driver for your system.
    4. Compare versions and updated dates.

    If the OEM's version is actually up to date with the Intel one:

    5a. Download and install the OEM driver.

    Otherwise:

    5b. Download the zip version of the updated driver at Intel's Download Center
    6. Unzip the thing to a location you can easily locate.
    7. Control Panel -> Hardware -> Device Manager
    8. Under Display Adapters, right click the Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 and choose Update.
    9. "Browse my computer for software" then "Let me pick"
    10. Select the Intel 4000 then click "Have Disk"
    11. Navigate to the folder where you unzipped the Intel driver, then enter the Graphics folder.
    12. Select the igdlh64.inf file there and open.
    13. Continue from there and your computer should update the driver to the new version, uncaring about the generic vs. OEM issue.

    It's what I had to do, and it worked.

    "Driver Version: null" <- looks suspicious, as if the game is not detecting the intel driver :/
    looks like the driver isnt working with starmade
    there is a newer Version available -> https://downloadcenter.intel.com/search?keyword=intel+hd+4000 Version 10.18.10.4061

    or did you try the JDK?
    if all fails again please upload a full log.txt.x file from a resent failed start. with upload file.

    neither worked and when i tried it on another intel 4000 laptop which EVERYTHING was up to date it did not work either and that one had never had starmade on it at all and the only files i can upload are the thread dump and graphics info

    If you cant add them here please go and open a support ticket and add there the Logfile, the graphicsinfo, the thread dumb of the last crash and the settings.cfg (i doubt they would ask for anything else). but they might tell you to do the usual things first, so also list what you already have done.
