So first I was loading my capital ship design into my shipyard, and it loaded just fine. Said I couldn't edit it in the current format and that it needed an order. Turned out my anchor was too close to the end and the nose of the ship was sticking out past the front of the shipyard. Whoops, so I moved it back to where the entire ship would fit in properly.

Now it says it can't load the design because its invalid in the database?

It loaded just fine before when it was too big for the shipyard, so what the heck is stopping it now?

Would spawning the ship in from blueprint, docking it to the shipyard, and then deconstructing it to design solve this issue?

I'd have to spend a good bit of time installing enough thrusters to get a titan shell moving enough to spawn it in and dock it, so I'd rather not resort to that if its not going to do any good.

Nope, the answer is no, spawning the ship in and then deconstructing it to a design does not work.

This usually happens when removing the anchor while a design is loaded.
If that happens to you now, you need to dispose the design and create a new one from a blueprint.
