Well, if you're intending this for WIP ships, as the text makes it sound, here's what I've been working on. A small support frigate that will carry 10 drones, yet to be named.

I guess we'll have to see if they reply to know, but to me that looks more like a grid than an actual floor plan O-o I could be wrong, though.

Believe it or not, I've the exact problem, but in the inverse. I must design the cockpit, core systems, and most of the logic systems before wrapping them in hull or having a complete design in mind. I've rarely been able to design a hull/shape and then fill it with the necessary components!

I suppose I can drop a little preview here. I wanted to try my hand at another cruiser. The finished block count is probably going to be around 600K. Tempest class armored light cruiser and spatha class destroyer shown for scale.

And a more up to date image, I finished filling in most of the systems and got to the fun part ! Started detailing by placing the white plating last night. Much easier to see what's going on now.

I'm throwing a little sneak Peekie of my new cruiser build too:
I'm thinking Agamemnon medium Cruiser

So far 305 x 74 x 237 m, sporting two of my new heavy turrets, two yet to be designed medium turrets, 9 small missile turrets and a yet to be defined amount of PD turrets.
