Got some time working on the rotor hubs today, had to make a compromise though, the original only had 6 support arms. I tried it with 4 but it looked wrong so attempted 6 and failed so ended up with 8 which actually looks very acceptable.

One of the things I loved most about massive builds is the detail you can make with such a massive canvas. That thing is looking epic man. Well done!

Wonderful. I wonder if perhaps a Bus or a Zephyr would be a fitting complement. If anything, replicas of those would probably provide far more firepower per volume than only Quinnjets.

well the marvel bus is basically a plane which wont look good in space an has actually been destroyed now

and the Zephyr is the New Bus, basically a mobile base that can stay in the air for days at a time, Phil Coulson loves his new Bus!

Where the shield logo is on the Zephyr, the surface opens up to reveal a docking bay for a Quinjet! could be fun to build in Starmade, also the Zephyr has a deployable Containment "Room" basically a box with jets which is used for quick extraction of injured or dangerous units!

been testing her capabilities in flight, after I placed the thrusters in her rear engines, (420,000,000 thrust) she can accelerate and decelerate like a fighter but takes far too long turning, wish I could use thrusters to turn her sideways like with the big ocean going liners we have now, even giving over all thrust to rotation she is very slow to turn. The power required for the thrusters and shields is immense, at present I have 32 battery cells that charge in 4 seconds to full capacity of 4.5million, then dump 4 million of that charge to the carrier when the timer activates them. the way I have it timed there is approx. 16 million e/sec recharging everything at any time coming from the batteries alone. in total they provide 128million e/s over 8 seconds. once I get a few battery banks installed she will be unstoppable.

Also been working on her rear hull plating and aero fins underneath below the rear engines.

Just finished adding the second S.H.I.E.L.D. logo to the upper landing deck and finished all 4 rotor hubs and supports.

Today I did some prototype Phalanx guns..... decided on a final version that is great at taking out missiles, 8 cannon in 4 barrels supported by 32 cannon for rapid fire and 32 Overdrive aswell. Fires really quick and does a great job, can be mounted vertically or upside down and I now have 14 on the helicarrier to protect it against incoming missiles whilst the other guns take out the ships.

As I was working on defence for the carrier I kept looking at my old Quinjets that I have scattered on the deck and decided they were not good enough..... so I hunted pictures of the Marvel quinjets and made a new one today.... I present version 2.0 Old version in background.

It has landing gear that retracts automatically on undocking and it also has wingtips that rotate down like on the real/tv one.

The quinjet went to space in the latest UK episode of Marvel Agents of Shield! so technically they have a ship that can go to space... a space ship lol

Sooo my friend, is time I started making some SHIELD TECH space ships? Could get artistic with them but keep them a similar style to all the other shield stuffs. :D

Well I started work on a design of my own, its a Shield Hexjet Transporter Lightly based on the Age of ultron Transport and a quinjet style, hopefully will be able to defend itself whilst doing rescue missions.

Considering the author was last online on September 2016, it's probably dead
