    Heyo, guys!
I updated Lightier Lighten Mode to work with the newest release of StarMade (0.18999)
The effect isn't quite the same, but I still think it improves the visibility quite a lot.

I thought that was the starmap at first
Is that a good thing?

I'm enjoying using the change here!
I did have one thing I noticed, and maybe it's specific to me. When shooting at asteroids, I noticed the modified explosions occur well before hitting the asteroid, sometimes just in front of my weapon's firing point. And then sometimes the explosions occur multiple blocks away from the hit point. As well, I saw no explosions when firing on a ship target.

Anyone else seen this? Or is this specific to me? If this has been commented on already, please point me in the right direction. Thanks! Great work!!!

First of all, thank you! :3
As for the explosions, I did some testing in the latest release and I get the same results. I haven't really found any working fix for it, so I might just remove it from future versions.

I'm sad to hear they might go. They certainly did make a great addition to the game, to have the larger explosions. I think they'd work great too as a visual effect for "flak." Fingers crossed a fix can be found! Thanks for all the work you've put into it! I'm enjoying it a good bit!

Out of curiosity, are you considering doing anything about modifying the image for the shields? That's one I thought would be fun to see change, just for kicks.

Personally, I just wish that salvage beams had/could have a different effect than damage beams... Sadly that kind of thing isn't configurable (yet?) >.>

Yes, because they're hard-coded to use that color and his shader mod makes beam colours a lot clearer.
Uh, but they were white without his shaders.
But okay, at first I thought something is wrong on my end.

No, but you can change the colors of the damage beams by linking the computer to a colored light block, I hope they add that for the salvage computer as well ...

They are white because of the crap textures. if you look hard enough, you will see the subtle colors in it.

Just posting to see if the lightier lighten mod is still up to date in this all in one pack. It's individual download version is broke.

    Hello,

I can't see differences with or without the mod.

I've backed up my previous Shader folder then copy the moded one to my Data folder. My Salvage Beams are still pale white/blue, nothing like the picture above.

    Did i miss something ?

    I'm playing with Linux 64bits.
