Even with show only compatible unchecked the list hits 24-25 servers of 78 then just sits there with a "retrieving" message.

Quite a few servers are running really outdated and are no longer compatible with 2022 game builds.
So all servers that have been running before 2022 and never updated will be sorted out by the current client, as they do not provide any compatible feedback anymore.
