I've authenticated and done all the stuff normally required to connect, but it constantly times out

Yes, the server was offline. It randomly crashed last night and didn't automatically restart as it should.

Neither Dan nor I have received any messages of him. If he has trouble with the registry, he would not be able to log on to the server, as we have authentication required. Get in contact with some mods.
