It is quite annoying when you want to be able to have logic detect if you are docked. Even with the Docked Variable in Display Modules you still can't have Logic detect whether you are docked.

What I suggest is to be able to place a Button/Activator next to a rail docker. When that happens, it will activate when the ship is docked. I think this will make some Docked Dependent systems a lot easier to build.

What if sensors could detect if a rail or rail docker was in use? Then you could even check if your docked after the fact.

Id rather be able to link a docker to an activator button to get the same - therefore not requiring it directly next to it.

Yeah that's already in game lol. You can even connect your rail to a button or activation module to detect without being forced to have your block right next to it.

Huh... is that a power 2.0 thing, or something that preceeded it (and I missed out on)? - or just something that never worked for me and im completely oblivious to? O____o

EDIT : shouldn't write stuff at 2 am. It works with dockers too.

works for me... granted it would be nice to be able to move the activator away from the docker.

However the connection from rail docker to activation module is what isn't implemented.

Yeah, I've been using this sine before the faction contest. Some old fighters I built ages ago have no portal dock, so I used force-fields that only activate when the docker is docked.
