TEXTURES:
Updated 64 “Pixel” pack texture set + Emissive textures.
Pixel textures for 3D Consoles, Pipes, Capsules, Lights and Grates, Buttons.
Removes Mushroom 3D object removed, restored sprite to keep inline with other current Flora.
NOTE: All terrain and flora are placeholder solid colours, or basic sprites for now.
GAMEPLAY: (sort of)
LOGICAL CONSOLES:
Consoles can interact with Logic circuits.
All consoles now work exactly the same as Activation Modules, able to toggle a “high” or “low” state by pressing R on them. They also have an activation texture.
EVERYTHING’S* (somethings are) A LIGHT SOURCE:
Screens and a few other blocks that have large amounts of emissive textures give off appropriately coloured light. It’s an incredibly small amount, only enough to put a small glow in a dark area if no other light sources are present. These blocks won’t ruin existing well lit hallways.
SHADERS AND EFFECTS:
LIGHTING FIX:
Previously, a wedge could appear dark despite being in full sunlight (at specific rotations relative to the sun ) due to a flipped normal somewhere in the code base. This mod fixes that, and restores correct lighting information.
NOTE : This lighting fix is only available for texture packs that don’t use the Normal Map part of the lighting shader, it also ONLY fixes this one very specific thing. Emissives and Specular channels of the textures are still preserved and working.
“BETTER” OUTLINES:
The Outline that appears on a selected entity are now truer to their intended colours and corresponding markers.
DISPLAY MODULES:
Display Modules no longer have any chromatic aberrations, scan-lines or animated surfaces.
LARGER SMALLER STARS:
Distant stars are now larger.
SOFTER BACKGROUNDS:
The procedural backgrounds have been diffused a little more, to give the appearance of more space dust, and less fractal patterns.
SOFTER BLOOM:
Adds a second bloom pass that has a lower threshold, at a lower intensity. The result is a softer glow.
NO MAIN MENU BLUR
Main menu has no blur image effect, letting you replace the background image with your own screenshots.
LOGIC TUBES

GUI:
TBA.
OPTIMISATIONS: NONE LOL
Some of these changes currently increase load, some will decrease load. Not by any large amount though. There is however, quite a large amount of optimisation (relative to the low impact these textures and shaders have on the game) that could be done over time. It’s something i might do, but it also pushes this mod into an even narrower direction. They might not be vanilla compatible with servers, making it harder to jump in and out of servers that are not using the same configs. I’ll see if it’s worth the effort later on.
