    Lasers are concentrated beams of light. It would be going at light speed so all the Billy\'s would die before they knew what was happening. Wait... *Cries*... they were so young! I\'m calling Robo-Peeta!

    MrNature72 I think was aiming for something that would be useable against ships in space combat where both sides have ships i think, but either way his suggestion is still usable and what\'s wrong with some specialist stuff?

    They are uncontrolled, wild, and difficult to manage. You would have to strip a ship of its shields first, and then launch a bag of explosives that\'s just as dangerous to your own ship as it is his. Then, you would probably cause extensive damage, and the accuracy of the breach would be infinitely less than with a breaching charge.



    If you want to add specialized stuff like armor, weapons, and all that. Why not add breaching charges? They\'re used in warfare already, add specialized ones for starship breaching.

    A missile doesn\'t need to explode on impact, many non anti-vehical missilies usally explode after a coupla milisecounds and \'forceing\' missiles to explode on impact would defently decrease user creativity. for example if i want to make a rocket that WONT blow up but uses alot of speed tp build up energie to pierce cover and mech-armour. and on the topic of armour, in this \'fix AMC\' thread one of the ideas was to rework how armour is calculated!

    I think it would be great to have weapons besides the pistol, and armor. I don\'t mean you spawn with a machine gun right off. Since Starmade is a game that really offers the ability to customize things, you ships, the stats, you shoul be able to customize your weapons too. You should have to collect parts for your weapons, whether it be a sword, projectile weapon, or laser. You can customize the stats, the looks, etc. making it YOUR weapon and be proud to carry it into battle. I also think Armor should be added, and different types of armor. You can customize the stats, how much armor rating it has, whether it impeeds your movement of not, it ifs just hunk of metals stuck onto your space suit, or a high tech individual sheild system, the game should offer just as many ways to trick your avatar out as much as your ship.

    These ideas should deffenrtly be implemented once personal weapon and armor comes out. My idea to \"nerf\" larger guns is to 1) prevent players with the largest type of guns to sprint and 2) make guns require ammo. Having ammo will make guns such as automatics not as OP since large factions can easily by any type of gun. Ammo will solve this problem by not allowing a player to use his auto full battle, unless he fills his whole inventory with it. I also think there should be a larger variety of ammo styles, such as shotgun shells.

    Ammo, and diffrent kind of ammos should be a must if build-your-own/factions-weapons (That was discused earlyer in this thread) and if it get implemented we must have a way to set the caliber of the weapon, i mean the one of the biggest reasons two opposing sides in a war never use the same caliber ammo is to make stealing ammo not an alternative, of course the calibers would have minor changes like heavier bullets being less affected by wind irl
