Mine just don't register properly most of the time.... Like, I'll look at something and see that I have 10 ratings on it but only get notified for two... -_-

An alert for a new message in a thread is ignored if the thread wasn't visited since the last alert for a new message on it.
An alert for a rating on a post is ignored if it was already rated since it was last viewed by you.

Anyone want to speculate on the fact that a Schema is a category we sort the characteristics of things in our brain. So a cat Schema stores the characteristics of a cat.
