This new system looks like it will kick ass. I can already see several things I could do with it via turrets on a large ship.

Turrets able to be controlled by players again sweet. With the docking module tweaks; will that mean docked ships can now be faced directions other than forwards? For example could you have the fighters in your hanger facing the exit on the side or rear or a ship?
