I really hope that missiles will have hp based on their type or power.
Whilst point defense brings an amazing new mechanic to the game, considering what I've seen with past "amazing new mechanics", I'm scared that it'll be implemented in some silly way - like all missiles have the same health.
If that is the case on release, long range homing missiles will be obsolete (i mean literally useless in ship to ship combat), as will all other types except for the heat seeking swarms. Every missile boat will have to fire an obscene amount of swarm missiles to compensate for flak fire - the more likely scenario is that missiles simply wont be used at all. So please devs if you read this, think VERY carefully about how you want to actually implement this feature.
I'm all for the change, but only time will tell if it enhances combat or ruins it.
