They will be eventually.Wow. It looks really awesome. I wish stations were easier to import/export.
Very nice. You can save the modules as templates so that players could copy/paste them and build a ship they like.Alright guys. I have some exciting news. I think thadius will like it the most. I wanted to test importing a Tengu. For those of you that do not know, a Tengu is a tech III ship. It is constructured out of individual hull sections and assembled as a very unique and personalized ship. It is one of 4 ships in EVE that you can do this with.
There are 2000 possible combinations for the Tengu hull. There are 5 sections to the hull that are required:
Electronics subsystems
Defensive subsystems
Engineering subsystems
Offensive subsystems
Propulsion subsystems
Now it is difficult for me to import this model because of the way EVE handles it. Each hull section is it's own individual model. In EVE I can see the dimensions for the ship as a whole but not as individual pieces. This means that I have to do my oldschool math ratios/measuring and figure out how big single hull sections are. It takes a bit of work and in the end the result is not perfect. I can adjust it bit by bit till all the sections have lined up nicely with each other.
Now I have no idea if the sections shown below are as long as they should be but they are fitting relatively well with each other. Just a bit more tweaking and it will be done. Tweaking is easy. Just tedious. Anyway. Here is the result of the first test.
Here you can see where the different subsystems on the Tengu are located. Keep in mind this is currently comprised of 5 different ships lined up with each other.
Each hull section will be copy/pastable onto a core that comes with a massive "Tengu Pack" Players will find that each hull section will have its own full interior, module slots and stats. The only thing that wont work like EVE's system is propulsion, as that is based off T/M ratios and not a static number. Anyways, I though you would enjoy. Expect a video on Friday covering this!
Dahell criss, were u ears dropping on CR comms? @Chances_Ghost and I were just talking about doing the exact same thing yesterday! cept we're going with a legion.Alright guys. The other destroyers come later. The freighter is ORESo Minmatar and Amarr get new ships but not Caldari
Boo
I'm guessing that 99% of it's users will be carebears, like with all the other ORE ships. The other destroyers come later. The freighter is ORE
It was designed for highsec transport. They expect players to transport ships for incursions.I'm guessing that 99% of it's users will be carebears, like with all the other ORE ships.
