    Its time again,
we had a few reports about pentas not showing correctly in one orientation,
but this only happens on a few systems.

You are affected when orientation 'Back' looks like this:

    pentaerror2.png

    Things we seem to know:
    - it is not depending on texture pack or resolution
    - OS, seems to be mostly windows (7 ultimate or 8.1)
    - intel hardware (but not all....)

Now we need a few more users that are affected and may give some feedback about their systems.

    Everyone affected should add
    Video Hardware:
    Java version:
    OS:

here in this thread or in
Issue #390: Pentas facing forward left have a concave face

A DxDiag report may help too.
(As this lists up all system details for futher possible causes that may come up)

Also added a blueprint made by FlyingDebris
he marked the broken penta with a block ontop.

    For reference:

FlyingDebris , Sven_The_Slayer , aceface , LazyBigCat ARE affected by this.
Feel free to contact them to point out similar system specs and post anything you may find out here.
Or just add a DXDiag report and tell if you have it or, not.

I really hope this works as good as the attempt to fix the preview ghost block in advanced build mode. =)

This is damn peculiar, I have never noticed it until now.

It is a different shape from different view points on my client :/

    Perfectly normal...

    Less normal...

not even sure if the block is there anymore.

Then relieve yourself from any aggression against it.

I have now 3 positive replies of it being fixed in current dev-branch, so next release will have it fixed =)
