Hey guys, Mykie here.

I played StarMade a while ago-- erm like couple years ago, and now I've been seeing many large and great ships being created and such. I'm taking lot of interest in taking a look in people ships and testing them out and things. I find it a lot of fun too! :P

If you guys want to submit contents like ships or station for me to review, feel free to do so and I'll try to review them and give some possible advice!

I'm planning to do some StarMade ship reviews on my YouTube channel so yep :P

Sorry for the rushed out post, I'm just really bad with words, but I try my best to explain what I'm trying to say. Also, my channel isn't popular. It has only 5 subs so far (used to be over 27 but I restarted channel due to some issues....), but yeah. I'll have some fun and you guys can be known more when I get a bit more known too hehe :P

I would not mind you to take a look at one or two of my ships since i always like to hear what others think about them and how the could be improved .
Nebula class Starship 1:1 USS Nebula This is still my pride and joy of starmade so if you could do one of this ship it could be cool focusing on the main ship itself.
Or Farrad class Light escort a much smaller ship that is part of a series that i have not finished yet but it would be intresting to see what you would think of it.

Honestly, I'm very surprised on how many people quickly replied on this thread. I'll be making several videos soon, so sit tight! :P

Also: Do you guys think I should do couple ships per video or one video per ship?

And for one final thing: I'll be sharing my YouTube link later once I get the first video done. I really just don't want to die of embarrassment <.<

Yay, more reviewers. I usually know what is wrong with my build by the time I have completed it.

Still, I am always interested in hearing feedback from a different perspective. I hope more players choose to do reviews. It helps spread good design ideas around, is instructive for the reviewer and will help the builders get better. Kudos.

You may want to speak up a little bit and do a bit of work on the audio mixing so your voice isn't eclipsed by the music.
At the moment, the Xanth Tigre review sounds a little bit more like a ship spotlight than a ship review, but aside from that, the video is pretty well done

Personally, I would do a few different ships per video if you're reviewing drones and fighters and such, or small corvettes, and reserve single ship videos for stuff with more complex interiors and details.

Yeah, I'll figure out on how to mix the audio better. I'm not completely used to the Adobe Premiere yet. :P

Make sure you project your voice and enunciate at all times. In this first video, you started out strong, but when you let your voice go quiet, it is nearly a gravely whisper.

Just feels like you were a little too positive on critiquing the ship, that's all. :p

If there's anything that feels out-of-place or looks wrong, don't hold back. If someone takes offense, then they were begging for compliments rather than a review and won't learn anything from it either way. Saber and company tend to point out flaws along with their compliments as well, so it's pretty much standard practice amongst the top reviewers.

I'd also recommend getting a feel for how systems on top of the line PVP ships and 100% Roleplay ships look. It's a little difficult to get a feel for when just accepting submissions from people or when pulling from Community Content because it's difficult to tell the difference, though - but generally, if it looks like it's really good at one thing just from a glance at the stats, it probably is. Weapons without effects come to mind, since there are effects that boost performance with zero drawbacks (like 10% Explosive effect, or 100% Punch effect).

Hey guys, I'm active on Twitter, putting up updates and ideas on possible videos!

I just need to figure out some time for videos and schedules, since high school started for me today.

Hopefully I'm able to arrive home at a pretty good time, so we'll see.

So far:

1) StarMade video intros: Cinematic entrance and view of the ship/station

2) I'll test it against pirates as well

3) I'll pretty much talk about the ship and go over it a bit. Bit of a showcase style, but I'll go over everything. And if there's anything I feel that could be better and improved or that the style doesn't fit for me, I'll state that.

And 4) I don't exactly wish to review things that have been already done. I want to review something creative and new. So that means I won't be doing any Star Trek ships and things like that. I'm really just not interested it and it's already been done.

Sorry for a long post and that I haven't been uploading recently. But I'll try today or anytime possible this week. It'll be worth it.

I hope to make the video entertaining to watch, in a short period of time like less than 10 minutes :P
