As of right now, the GUI and reticle/crosshair are large, obnoxious, and unpleasant. I don't know if this is on the list of things to fix, but it is important.

It is cumbersome to interact with instances from far away with the current size of the GUI and server/system notifications are spammy and ugly. If these things were adjusted to be smaller and the designs more sleek and compact, or even adjustable by the player, that'd be great and would really contribute to muh imMERSION

EDIT: okay so this has been suggested before, but
Still, I think that having some control over the size, proportions, and location of GUI things should be considered.

For example, closing the item menu, scaling down the health and power bars, and minimizing the info at the top would provide a more cinematic effect in battles, and this luxury should not be limited to those who can make texture packs and whatnot.

If GUI customization is a thing in the future, it would also be nice to have a way to toggle between screen modes, for instance if you wanted to switch between combat GUI and building GUI rapidly in the heat of battle or something.

Just download a GUI mod for the moment, there are many of them out there under the mods thread.

This doesn't have the potential to happen. It IS going to happen. When isn't known yet though (like Kupu said in his two posts on that subject).

Nah, but Kupu did mention a cockpit that you could add and drag elements to. Is that what you are looking for?

No, I meant like if I have multiple screens I can adjust the center of my view and move all my information feeds over onto a secondary screen.
