Bug LinuxMint17 64bit crash when loading maps

    When loading any map in single/multiplayer I get a ResourceExeption error 58% into the loading process, and if I hit retry on the error box I start getting null pointer, and GLException errors.

    I have the following computer setup:

    AMD FX Eight Core Proccessor
    Dual AMD Radeon 7950's
    Linux Mint 17 64bit, and the the default version of Java that comes in this Distros Repository
    Kernel version 3.19, and the default fglrx-updates drivers.

    Please add a log.txt.x file from one of those crashes.
    to be found in Starmadeinstallfolder\logs.
    just remove the .x part and drag and drop it into an answer here

    a 128 px version of the pixel set doesnt exist!
    please open up the settings.cfg file (in the install folder of starmade) and change the lines as follows
    G_TEXTURE_PACK = Default

    see if it then works.

    That worked, and I'm surprised that reinstalling this game through steam didn't do this for me.

    if you are not deleting the files from the install folder the settings arnt being overwriten /new created ... so you would have started with the failing settings again.

    good that it does work now :)
