Bug Launcher Issue: Clicking start game, 2nd part of launcher doesnt appear.

I am running windows 8,

Also, i have Komodo antivirus,

Basically, its not updating so I have to do it manually. It recognizes there is a build in, and says its the latest. i press start game and then when it closes, nothing appears



Starmade is in a folder on my desktop, while the starmade build stuff are in a folder called StarMade.

what do the logfiles say?(in the "logs" folder where the install is)

The launcher hasnt produced any logs.

No, where the install is at(look at "installation options" in the settings menu of the launcher to see the path)

In the starmade directory, where the logs folder is? Its empty.

hrrm, try running this command from console, when in the Starmade directory.

java -jar StarMade.jar -client

And post/link what it says.

did you tried to runn it from a not otherwise protected folder ?
make on on your harddrive, put the starmade starter in there and put a link on the desktop and then try again to update and start the game with a fresh install
