    The biggest issue with hyperdrive at the moment is flying into things that have\'nt loaded yet. And with big ships thats a problem...a potentially server crashing and killing problem.

    OP: I reckon they are great ideas to implent, exept for the Wheels, as stated above, they re VTOL\'s after all :)

    Docking via \"landing\" could be stupidly exploity.

    Just imagine your shooting at someone, just for them to crash into a homebase and become invincible.

    For that matter, have you even played this game?
    I can understand maybe landing a fighter on a planet, but you can get the same result by making a tiny docking port. Then you get to capitals the size of planets, which according to you, should be able to \"dock\" by crushing the planet...

    They did it in space engineers and no one has complained once, i don\'t see why it can\'t be done, maybe make it so that you can\'t do it with certain sized ships?

    Maybe there could be a hangar-side and a ship-side version.

    They could automatically dock, if you press S and push the plattform and undock if you draw with W. They could have some force - about equal to the default gravity on planets - to draw you into the grid (not x=1.7-> x=2; x=1.4-> x=1)
