Hey, This is TerrorSoul at Kindhawk Gaming and today id like to introduce you guys to the Kindhawk Starmade Server in which is going to be focused upon providing a stable server environment to enjoy for individuals located in the United Kingdom and surrounding countries. In order to achieve this stability our server is hosted in a state of the art datacenter in London in which is backed up by a 1gbps backbone and has line protected to prevent the loss of service if one ISP line goes down. The server itself is built upon an Intel Xeon 8 Core Platform in which scales and boosts the ram accordingly to the server usage allowing our server to fully adapt to in-game situations and therefore improve in the overall areas of performance in-game where other servers may fail. Due to our UK based server we are able to provide a no-lag server for individuals in the UK and surrounding countries due to the super low ping. Okay, enough of the sales speak and more about playing on the actual server, as we have just launched we imagine their may be a few issues that may occur and therefore will need to be fixed overtime in which could possibly affect the 24/7 status of the server although we can guarantee that when these issue are sorted the 24/7 status will live up to its name. The server is pretty much empty at the moment and rules can be found upon joining our server, so we need your help to build up our server and make it a brilliant server to experience for everyone. Note to our server users: Kindhawk 32 Slot British Server is going offline for some scheduled maintenance in 15 minutes as we perform vital edits to our in-game economy, adjust necessary server settings and add a further addition of 3 more slots to our server. We hope this will improve the actual experience on our server. We plan to continue introducing slots as demand rises. Thanks for your understanding!



Small FAQ...

1. How long will downtime be?, Downtime will range between 10 minutes to 20 minutes.
2. Will my ships be lost?, Nope we rest assure your creations are safe in our hands
3. Will my credits be lost?, If you have been lucky enough to earn a large amount of credits on our server before the economy changes then you can keep the credits as our way of saying thankyou for using our server since launch.
4. Will their be any sort of IP changes or performance changes? Their will be no IP changes although we are hoping that this maintenance will improve our performance and therefore make our uptime even better!, Were commited not to go below the 99% Uptime threshold.

We are well away to be coming back online today at some point, we are told around afternoon. Sorry for so much downtime and as Ive said we hope this downtime will be less of an issue as alpha development of starmade progresses.

Yes, We have finally managed to get everything sorted out and fixed and as a result we will be coming back online in 10 minutes. I will do one more post shortly to notify you guys of the server being online.

its a very good server and i am getting good performance however it it almost empty with virtually no playerbase. i understand however that this is due to the fact that this server is very new and i will be watching this server to see if it grows.

Sorry for downtime recently, we have had quite a few issues thrown at us. You will be glad to know that these issues have been resolved and our server is now back online and is functioning correctly. The world itself has been reset although your blueprints and player skins still remain on the server.

Our server is new plus we have been having alot of downtime due to updates and problems at the data center were our server is located meaning that our players just have not been on the server. We have now resolved all these issues and are now back to normal. Come join us when you want
