JVM crash.

When I run starmade it opens for a second and the closes.When I try to launch it again i get a JVM crash report.I have ran the Starmade System Checker and it says that i should be able to run starmade.I have tried running starmade in administrator mode but it still did not work.I checked my intel card version and its the latest version.Any Help?

do you have java installed in 32 bit and 64 bit Versions ?
if Yes make sure both are of the same Version number.
if not and you are running a 64 Bit OS grab the Jave 64 bit install manualy from the java.com homepage.
for english java Version -> http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

if that is still not working try the Java Development Kit JDK. some drivers do not work properly with the JRE.

Is there a Log.txt.0 file beeing created when you try to start the game in the log folder inside the starmade folder ?

The game just closes when i press OK and an error report is generated.

Are you sure you are using the latest grafics card driver for your grafic setup?
Use the apropiate one from the Intel Webpage for your hardware, not one provided by a manufacturer.
If you have problems to find them there, tell me what hardware you are using (usualy the Processor type will be enough, it contains the Intel grafics part) and i try to find it

in this cas use the nvidia gpu .. You obviously are using a laptop here.
set the memory settings under Options -> Memory settings to something like 2048-1024-512

2) Multiple GPUs and using the "powersaving one" to run the game (a pretty common reason for all notebooks, or multi-GPU systems):
If you have another graphics-card in your computer, tell your computer to execute java via GPU only. (In the case of NVidia cards you can do this in the "NVidia Control center")

Hi,

Today I bought and downloaded StarMade from STEAM. I have succesufly intall the game and register a new user.

However, when I try to play, the game load the 100% and after it exit the game without an error. When I click "Play" again, an error screen apears "JVM Crash detected" and it recomend me to review the Intel video card drivers.

I have a Lenovo Laptop G500, with two graphic / video cards:
1) AMD RAEDON HD 8570m
2) INTEL(R) HD Graphics 4000

Both cards drivers are already updated or at least this is what Windows reports. I have also update JVM to version 8 update 40.

Please help me as I am not able to play the game.

jaimebuilder ... hello. mostlikely your problem is that java is being executed through the iGPU HD4000. you should use the Radeon HD8570m for that. sadly i do not know how to force the Radeon to be used.
I did google a video that might help, you may want to try that ->
