Hi guys, simple question here. If someone is just hanging around on my ship (aligned to a gravity unit) and I activate the jump drive, will they come along for the ride or will they suddenly find themselves in empty space? Do they need to enter a computer/build block first?

In short: the best way to make sure your friend ((or prisoner 
)) comes along with you when you jump is to have then sit inside a computer or physically sit some where on the ship using the "O" key.
Ideally simply aligning to the ship with "space bar" should do it, but some times lag and server saves cause silliness to happen. Also people in turrets and other docked entities are at a high risk of being left behind.
