Of course there are no urge to solve this, Starmade still an alpha and it's not an actual main problem since it's just concerning aesthethism.
The bus line system backbone would be for sure a nice way to improve logic gameplay with some disadvantages. Logic systems will necessarily be more complex but it's ok since this complexity won't be justified anymore by unfair superficial reasons but as requirement to operate the logic circuit. That make sense but it'll definetely kill logics in fighter and small structures.
On the other hand I am still convinced that change their colors from shining blue to a basic matte gray or black or any other one won't influence their ms rendering since it's just about their textures. Yellow, white or red could be ok also, since it's hot color which match well with energy transmission.
