Inability to start the game.

So I've just downloaded starmade and after reinstalling java. Downloading new drivers AND reinstalling starmade fresh over 5 times I have got the same repeating error.

The first time I try to run the game in singleplayer I get the stringindexoutofboundsexception:string index out of range: 0 error.

Upon changing my name (which others said fixes previous issue) I get a different error illegalstateexception:fromthread thread[clientthread,6,main]

And these two repeat infinitely no matter what I do. I've tried reinstalling java/starmade/clearing cache and installing new drivers.

Might want to include your system specs.

cpu
gpu
operating system
what java version
using steam or the independent launcher

Please upload the log.txt.0 file of one of those crashes here (use the upload file option)
and add the graphcisinfo.txt (from the same logs folder)

what OS and GPU are you using?
