I think I've seen that bug before. The character was somehow there without a player. How weird would it have been if the thing started moving around and doing things while the player was logged off!?

The thing is, it was moving around - before a player, namely Crusade joined.​

I've seen that before, you can use Admin Commands and make your player go invisible and that is the gamertag that your character will have when it is invisible, course this could still be a bug
