How to use skins in multiplayer?

I just downloaded a skin. I can see it, but other people in my server can't. I already checked server.cfg to make sure skin uploading was allowed. How do I make it so other people can see my skin?

Servers can take a while to download player skins for others to see. There should be white text in a corner of your screen, saying how close to completion it is, IIRC.

Even after it finishes uploading, other people still see the default skin.

I don't think there's anything I can do to help, then. Maybe post this in Game Support? You'd be able to find more experienced help over there. =)

Dunno if you got this fixed, but paint.net tends to do something funny with the saves, and only works if you force it to save as 32-bit.
