so you probly want me to start talking 'bout them ship thingy's eh? well ok then, lets start whit something simple but of very great inportance the humble fighter, or this case the evolution of one such fighter dezign that has always been there and even more so reacently whit upe-ma-dates happening, so i present you the evolution of the 'scutle'(yes its spelled sthat way). this gives a good measure bar, since i never stoped remaking it during my starmade career(of sorts) and there a few, well many more i want to share.

the first one, and the hardest one to hit, the MK1. an all-round useful pod to have around whit a minimal shield, basic canons and salvage beams.
nothing special then came the MK2, we tried to be more combat efficient and thus more shields and we put some missiles on it, and a AI-module so it can buzz around independently of a pilot, useful for when your short on men.
the MK3 was the first attempt at militarisation of the ship, and was successful for its time but short-lived.
between the mark 3 and 4 we tried to experiment whit turrets on the tiny ship, we honestly thought it would be a smart idea since it could fire at more directions and be able focus at solely flying, we since moved on due to the fact that we lost the ability to dock, it however out-gunned every previous version.
the MK4 was a failure however, it did future a EMP(repullsor) that could disable other ships for short periods of time and did have an internal view of the ship, it was doomed to be deprecated due to lack of shields.

then came the golden age for the scutle, the time of re-creation since the MK4 was an utter failure we had to redesign the scutle from the ground up and thus the MK5 was born whit a new sporty look and improved everything to match up. not only having a stronger, faster base ship this model also has two turrets to add to the whole package this way it could out-gun any and all competitors of the same class, and because it bolstered this many guns we nicknamed it the gunship. access to the controlles was also moved from the top to the bottom.
being successful but slightly unhandy we moved to a less weaponised form, and gave it a new role. thus MK6 "the tug" was born being useful for collecting the wreckage of battleships and pirates alike it proved useful collecting scrap of battle's. we also included a small shutle, that was original little more than an escape-pod then we upgraded that to a tiny shuttle whit very basic defence ability's and making it double as a turret, the ship has a minor disability. due to the core being completely in-bedded in the deign access can be gained by using a computer or the shuttle and switching views.
quickly realising the potential of the ship(and the fact it looked kinda ridicules), we started making it more useful like the very first scutle, reducing the size of the tug-module and giving it a high powered mining-beam and making the weapon more focused and bigger, we created the latest edition to the scutle family MK7"the workhorse" we wildly tested this version of the ship, and found that its a very good all-round starter ship and allowed for a great deal of customisation that's why we(honergard space yards) have decided to release this version of the ship to the public hoping it will be to your liking.
